Meetings throughout Aotearoa can consult with the Respect and Safety Committee to help resolve conflicts between Friends and within Meetings.
All Meetings are encouraged to have Respect and Safety Contact people able to provide support for Friends in conflict. Occasional national seminars are held for Contact friends.
The ethos of the Committee is that embracing conflict can be community building, helps to resolve differences and increase understanding, and prevents polarisation of views by which hurts are magnified.
