This website operates on two levels: the public area which all users can view and the semi-private area for logged-on Friends who are registered on the Quaker database as authenticated users.

The membership database is hosted on a secure site and how much private user contact information is visible to other logged-on Friends is the choice of the Friends concerned. Personal information is not shared with any other group or organisation.

The visibility of individual pages can be set by the editor as to public, semi-public (logged-on Friends, or private to the groups authorised to access the page.
