The Friends Mutual Assistance Fund (FMAF) is a fund dedicated to the support of people in our meetings or their families when they are in need.
Anyone facing hardship can ask their local meeting for help and this is often met through the resources of that meeting. However, if the meeting itself is not able to give the support that is needed, an application for a grant OR LOAN can be sent to FMAF. Grants or loans can be applied for through any Quaker Meeting in Aotearoa New Zealand. The three trustees of the FMAF are appointed by Yearly Meeting for an indefinite period.
