Mt Eden Meeting House Open Day

Northern Monthly Meeting invited the community to visit their Meeting House in Mt Eden, Auckland on Saturday February 15.

Neighbours had been able to see the outside work required in earthquake strengthening the building so it was decided to give an opportunity for a closer look at both the building and Quakers.

Visitors were able to see a write up of the strengthening process illustrated by a series of photos showing the process of the work. Examples of the equipment used were also on display.

There were also displays and information on Quakerism and demilitarisation of Aotearoa. Friends were available to answer questions and share refreshments with visitors.
