World Quaker Day 2018 in Taranaki

At Taranaki Monthly Meeting on Sunday 7 October 2018, we celebrated World Quaker Day with morning tea including a "Quaker" chocolate cake in honour of George Cadbury as a leader who demonstrated caring for his workers' wellbeing. Members also contributed homebaking, produce and fruit to a gift hamper which was delivered to the New Plymouth Night Shelter that afternoon (see photo below) where the gesture wsa much appreciated. Photo below shows Geoff Steedman, Errol Spence and Liz Bridgeman.
