Quakers and Climate
Reflection & Action on Climate Issues
This seminar provides opportunities for conversation, contemplation and connection as Quakers, to help inform and encourage our climate action and environmental engagement. Drawing on Joanna Macy and Chris Johnstone’s work “Active Hope”, we have designed this experience for active participation. Sharing our knowledge, experience, questions and creativity, together we seek to learn, support and inspire one another around how we bring our spiritual gifts to caring for our common home. There will be a panel discussion with invited experts to help our learning, and opportunities to work with others on your shared interests. If you are planning to join us, please register by 14 June to support your and our preparation. Online participation will be possible for some sessions. Some time will be spent outdoors so please bring suitable footwear and warm clothing. Accommodation a day ahead and a night after the seminar is available at no extra cost. Do consider staying over and add this to your registration details.
