This Labour Weekend we are celebrating the 50th Anniversary of the founding of the Quaker Settlement. The current residents and some ‘old timers’ are planning an action-packed couple of days from Friday evening through to Monday lunchtime.

Come and join us to see how things have changed at 'Quaker Acres', catch up with old friends, join the celebratory banquet and share some of your stories. 

There will be a revival of the Pete Green Skiffle band, a scavenger hunt, visioning of the next 50 years, tours of the grounds, a viewing of the play 'A Pearl in the Sand', and of course food       glorious food!

Bring your favourite shared meal recipe, a game you used to play, or ideas for other activities.

We will be recording some of the stories for the History of the Settlement project and would love you to bring photos and other memorabilia.
