The Quaker Education Fund (QEF) Committee makes grants, large and small, to both individuals and groups primarily to support the education of members, attenders and their children.
It focuses particularly on ways in which the Quaker testimonies of integrity, equality, simplicity, peace and community are developed and used both individually and within our Quaker and wider communities in the form of service or social action.
The Quaker Education Fund was originally established at Yearly Meeting 2010 to disburse the monies from the Margaret Caverhill Bequest, and the former School Trust Administration Committee.
The purpose of the Quaker Education Fund is to support the education of Members, Attenders and their children. The fund covers four general areas:
The Committee is guided by the Quaker Education Fund Handbook.

The Testimonies Fund was created by Yearly Meeting in 2008. The founding capital came from untagged legacies held by Yearly Meeting plus surpluses from previous years.
The fund enables Friends to put Testimonies (peace, simplicity, equality, integrity, sustainability) and religious witness into action.
We are particularly interested in projects which focus on problem solving, preferably addressing root causes rather than quick fixes.
Grants have varied from $300 to $23,000 with most grants being under $5,000.

Friends are encouraged to make donations and bequeath legacies to either or both funds.
