Known Drupal issues being worked on

  • On News and Events pages, there's a "share by Email" icon, but it doesn't work (Facebook and Linked-in work).

    There seems to be a bug in the ShareThis service, and we'll have to wait for them to fix it. A Drupal issue has already been opened to track the problem: https://www.drupal.org/project/sharethis/issues/3477131
    Workaround: Copy the URL and email it, while we get this fixed. In the meantime, this icon has been removed.

  • There's a bug which causes an "Oops..." error when editing/changing the text associated with a link. 
1. In this screenshot I tried to add (Canada) to the link text for an external link, and clicked Update.

There seems to be a caching bug - when the system cache is cleared the problem goes away, but reappears for unknown reasons.
Workaround: If you want to change the text associated with an external link or a file link, this is how:
  • Copy the link URL
  • Break or delete the link
  • Recreate the link with the desired text, and paste the link URL back in. 
Note that this issue only affects external links and file links. It doesn't affect links to internal pages, provided the link was created correctly as a "relative" link e.g. /about-us (NOT https://quakers.nz/about-us).
