Discernment: a 6 week 90 minute online course starting Tuesday 12th August at 19.15
Discernment and decision-making are crucial aspects of our life as a Quaker community.
8.02 Quaker Faith and Practice | 5th edition | Quakers in Britain
We invite you to join with us in exploring Quaker discernment processes:
What is discernment?
What does Quaker discernment involve? How did these processes arise historically?
How do personal and corporate discernment processes differ?
What helps our discernment process work well?
What is the role of the Clerk, and all the rest of us, in a Meeting for Worship for Business?
Both our “Quaker Handbook” and “On these Islands” will be used as background material.
We hope the sessions will be fun, informative, and thought-provoking for all.
