JYF Camp

Whanganui Quakers are looking forward to hosting Junior Young Friends for their 2025 gathering at The Settlement, Sunday 13th to Friday 18th April. All young people associated with Quakers (and their friends) aged 13-17/year 9-13 are invited to come join us for this wonderful week of activity and friendship. We shall be staying in The Settlement, an important place for Quakers in Aotearoa.

We have planned trips to Whanganui central, the beach, the bush and an education/restoration project up the river. There will be craft activities to support The Settlement and for taking home. In the evenings, there will be time for games, chat and movies. Concert preparation is encouraged... Meal preparation is a shared and creative activity of all.
