Meeting House
The Meeting House is the red brick building on the left-hand side. It has our Meeting Room. It can comfortably host meetings of 35 people. A large TV screen can be hooked up to your computer to show films, documentaries or host a remote meeting. Free Wifi is available, subject to our Quaker usage policy. The Meeting House is ideal for small exercise classes, meditation groups, lectures, local society meetings or Resident Associations’ AGMs. The building has a kitchenette and two toilets, one of which is accessible.
The Quaker Center
The Quaker Centre is the yellow brick building facing Moncrieff Street. The combined kitchen and meeting room can comfortably seat 20 people. The kitchen contains a cooker, microwave and a fridge. It is stocked with crockery, cutlery, cooking utensils, tea and coffee. There is one toilet downstairs. Free Wifi is available, subject to our Quaker usage policy. General access is via the red steps between the Meeting House and the Centre. Access for those with reduced mobility is via the lift at ground floor level. The toilet is located on the ground floor. It is ideal for crafting groups, small discussion groups, book clubs and those who wish to host light meals.
Studio
The Studio is located at the rear of the Meeting House adjacent to our vegetable garden. It can comfortably host 8-10 people in a classroom setting. It contains a kitchenette for making tea and coffee and has one toilet. Free Wifi is available, subject to our Quaker usage policy. It is peaceful and private and is ideal for small classes or for those wishing to host counselling sessions or small board meetings.
