About the venue
George Fox House is next door to the Quaker Centre and Meeting House, Friends House, within easy walking distance of Courtney Place in downtown Wellington and on the bus route for the airport. The city shops, harbour and Oriental Bay are a short walk away. There are numerous places to eat downtown nearby.
George Fox House has a humble guesthouse, where visiting Friends can stay for $50 per person per night (including a simple breakfast). We ask prospective guests to pay a 50% deposit when they book; this deposit can be refunded up to seven days before the beginning of their stay. Stays are usually limited to five days. Please advise your expected time of arrival to make arrangements for entry.
